Judson E. Boyce, age 92, of Zeeland died Monday, January 17, 2022 at Medilodge of Frankenmuth.
Judson was born in Allegan, MI to Albert A. and Ida E. (Garlock) Boyce. They came to Holland in the 1930’s and Judson attended Holland Public Schools graduating in 1947. He married Barbara Jeane Knoll in 1955. They live in Tulsa, OK for 2 years, and Ypsilanti, MI for 10 years before returning to Holland in 1966. Judson was a veteran of the Air Force serving from 1948 until 1954. He was a member of the National American Legions Veterans and the local V.F.W. Judson volunteered at Evergreen Commons.
Judson was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jeane (Knoll) Boyce in 1998.
He is survived by his children: Mayrie (Sue) Belton-Boyce of Zeeland; Grace Eileen (Mark Lee) Edwards of Gowanda, NY; grandchildren: Matthew and Brian Maldonado of Zeeland.
A memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Dykstra Funeral Homes-Downtown Chapel, 29 East 9th Street in Holland. Father Corwin Stoppel will be officiating. Burial of cremated remains will be planned for a later date. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Legion, 10820 Paw Paw Drive, Holland, MI 49424.
