Judith Morris Mauger age 77 of Saugatuck died Thursday March 31, 2016 in Heartland Health Care in Holland.
Born in Clarkston, MI., Judys graduated from Clarkston High School in 1955. She attended Michigan State University. She was employed as a sales rep in the S.W. Michigan area for Commerce Clearing House retiring in 1994.
Judy has been living in the Saugatuck area since 1978 and was involved in the Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society, Saugatuck Women’s Club, Saugatuck-Douglas Art Club as well as First Congregational Church of Saugatuck. For many years she also mentored in the Saugatuck –Douglas Elementary Schools.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Natasha Richardson in 1993.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, David Mauger and children; Kam (Miho) Morris of Cincinnati, OH., Monet (Jim) Martin of Colorado Springs ,CO., son-in-law, Gary Richardson of Australia; step-children; Michael (Leanne) Mauger of Lutz, FL., Susan Mauger of Madison, WI., Sally (Walter) Rietveld of Saugatuck and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, April 23, 2016 at First Congregational Church, 296 Hoffman St., Saugatuck, with Rev. Sarah Gladstone officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Saugatuck.
