Juan Martinez

Juan Martinez, age 61, of Holland, passed away, Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Mr. Martinez was born in El Refugio, Mexico on March 20, 1961. He was married to the love of his life, Mrs. Olivia Rodriguez for 30 years. He visited his home country every year to visit his family. They were everything to him and he was always known as an excellent provider for them. Every morning, he would prepare breakfast for his family, often rising before everyone else to do so. Juan had so much love for family and he often provided for them financially in Florida and Mexico. He was an even keeled, patient man of integrity. He was a man of God and with a solid work ethic. Juan was easy to talk to and always willing to help anyone in need, given his heart for Jesus. He was a faithful, longtime member of Maranatha Christian Reformed Church in Holland. He was also employed by Boar's Head in Holland for the last 30 years. Those that knew him will miss his humble, gentle ways and easy smile. He was loved by everyone that knew him and he will truly be missed.

A funeral ceremony will be held to honor and pay tribute to his life and legacy, at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 918 Central Avenue, Holland, on Friday, December 23, at 1:00pm. The Reverend Matthew J. Stob will preside over the funeral ceremony. Graveside services and interment will take place in Mexico. The family will receive visitors from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service at Maranatha CRC.

Memorial contributions may be made to Maranatha Christian Reformed Church.
