John Scholten Jr., age 61, of Holland, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. He worked as the First Vice President Director of Facilities for Chemical Bank for the past 8 years. Prior to that, he worked at Herman Miller for 35 years, completing his time there as the Corporate Real Estate Manager. He had made many friends over the years and will be dearly missed. John is preceded in death by his step-daugther, Rachael Pfeiffer, his father, John Scholten Sr., his mother Gertie Scholten, and his brother, Howard Scholten. His memory will be cherished by his wife of 25 years, Carol; his children Jason and Kristin Scholten, Shanna and Chris Meyer, John “JJ” and Stephanie Scholten; step-children Andrew and Cheryl Pfeiffer, Rebecca Pfeiffer-Wierks; Oompa to 14 grandchildren; sister Glenda (Larry) Grassmid; brothers Dr. Don (Betsy) Scholten, Roger Scholten; sister-in-law Sonie Scholten; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
