John Bueno Jr., age 68, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away unexpectedly October 2, 2021 at Bronson Memorial Hospital in Kalamazoo Michigan with his loving daughter by his side.

The eldest son of John and Elizabeth Bueno, John Bueno Jr was born on March 4, 1953 in Odessa, Texas. He resided in Austin, TX from 1953-1972. In 1972, John enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served his country from 1972 to 1974, earning a National Defense Service Medal, Marksmans M-16. Education was important to John. Over the years he attended Michigan State Police Academy, Ft Sam Houston AMEDD Center and School, Grand Valley State University, Grand Rapids Jr. College, Glenn Oaks Community College, and Holland High School. Those who knew John knew he didn’t value material things. What John found of most value was the Lord, family (including his dogs), serving his country, education, and of course Michigan Football.

If Tomorrow Starts Without Me

If tomorrow starts without me, and I’m not here to see, If the sun should rise you find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn’t cry the way you did today, While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you. And each time that you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. He said my place was ready, in heaven far above

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
