Joan Cooper, age 86, of Holland, passed away, Sunday, October 30, 2016.
Joan graduated from Holland High School and was a lifelong resident of the area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer in 1995 and a son, Scott in 1982.
Surviving are her children, Steve Cooper, Patrick and Donna Cooper, Michael and Retta Cooper, Laura Von Ins, Clarke Cooper, Sean and Amy Cooper, and Kyle and Lori Cooper; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; sister, Donna Vander Veen; in-laws, Carol Strabbing, Rose Strabbing, and Benjamin and Laura Cooper Jr.; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral and committal services will be 1 pm, Wednesday (November 2), at Trinity Reformed Church, 712 Apple Ave., with the Rev. Chris DeGraaf officiating.
Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday (November 1), at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Reformed Church Children’s Ministries or Hospice of Holland.
