Jill Van Wieren

Jill Van Wieren, a woman of strong will and unyielding determination, passed away on March 1, 2024.

Born on September 4, 1954, she embarked on a journey through life that left an indelible mark on those around her. Jill was the beloved wife of Mitchel Van Wieren, and together, they raised two sons, David, and Michael Van Wieren. Jill's life was a testament to resilience and tenacity.

She faced challenges head-on, displaying a stubbornness and hard-headedness that, in retrospect, became defining aspects of her character. Her unwavering spirit was evident in every aspect of her life and the devotion she poured into being a mother and wife. As a mother, Jill was both nurturing and firm, shaping the lives of David and Michael with a unique blend of love and tough love. Her guidance and support were instrumental in their growth, instilling in them the values of perseverance and integrity that will continue to resonate through generations.

In her role as a wife, Jill and Mitchel shared a partnership built on mutual respect and enduring love. Their journey together was a testament to the strength that comes from facing life's challenges hand in hand, weathering storms, and celebrating triumphs together.

Cremation will take place and burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery alongside her husband.
