Jill Henke

Jill B. Henke, age 70, of Holland passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at her home.

Jill was born on August 25, 1953, in McDonald, PA to Graves and Dorothy (Poskin) Birnie. She received her PhD at the University of Pittsburgh and married James Henke in 1993. Jill was employed at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Upon retiring, Jill and Jim moved to Holland, MI.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, and was very involved in volunteering/activism.

Jill is survived by her husband James Henke and daughter Allison (Joseph) Kelly.

Cremation will take place. Currently, no services are planned. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel.
