Jeffrey Wayne (Jeff, Pops) Bussler, 65, of Holland, MI, walked into the arms of Jesus with his family by his side on January 21, 2022 in his home.

Jeff was born in Dowagiac, MI to Donald & Janice (Bigelow) Bussler on January 26, 1956. He went on to earn a degree in Accounting from Michigan State University. He worked for United Cable Television as a manager at Continental Cablevision. He then moved on to become part owner of Koetje Wood Products for 17 years. His last adventure was at INONTIME as a forklift operator and resident wise “Old Guy” for the last 10 years. He enjoyed swimming at the aquatic center 3 times a week, weekends at the cottage, water skiing, pulling his kids and grandkids tubing, a good fire, Michigan Football, time with friends, trips to Colorado, U.P. vacations and walking the beach in Florida.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy (Mulbar) Bussler, daughter Kristen (Bussler) Hill (Nate Hill) of Norton Shores, MI, son Andrew Bussler (Felice Manzanarez) of Denver, CO, sisters Donice Mattei (Mike Mattei) of White Lake MI, and Marla Salah (Gus Salah) of Orland Hills, IL, SIL Leah Coultes (Randy Coultes) of St. Joseph MI, MIL Cherilene (Minot) Mulbar of St. Joseph, MI, grandchildren Lissa Jorian of Rolling Meadows, IL, Tenley, Tessa and Teagan Hill of Norton Shores, MI & Hayes Bussler of Denver, CO and many nieces and nephews. By his request we will be having a party to celebrate his life. The Celebration of LIfe open house will be held at Brew Merchant: 442 Washington Ave, Holland, MI 49423, on Sunday, January 30th from 12-4pm.

Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, or Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook St SE #300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to INONTIME for all the constant support and love through his journey. We would also like to thank all of you who were vital in making sure Jeff was taken care of, whether that was taking him to appointments, picking him up from appointments, providing meals, groceries, supplies, sitting with him while Nancy went to work, taking him for drives to get out of the house, praying with him, reading to him, making him laugh and countless other blessings. We are so grateful and overwhelmed by the support, love, kindness and giving nature of everyone in our community. He was a man who loved to connect with people, so all the visits were very vital during his last days. Our lives were filled with your kindness and will not be forgotten. Thank you from our very full hearts.

Isaiah 55: 10-11As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
