Jane Marie (Brouwer) Maatman, age 96, of Holland went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, September 26, 2021 at The Inn at Freedom Village.

She was a former member of Bethany Reformed Church in Grand Rapids and later became members of Glen Lake Community Reformed Church. She was very involved in church activities and had the gift of hospitality always willing to open her home to missionaries and students who needed a place to stay. After retirement Jane and her husband Don moved to Glen Lake, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, daughter Lynn, grandson Daniel, great great granddaughter Honestie Marie.

She is survived by her children: Jim and Kathy Maatman of White Cloud, Mary and Bob Niemeyer of Jenison and Joanne and Mark Dixon of Walker; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Dykstra Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel in Holland. Rev. Andy Basardi will be officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Memorial Park in Standale, MI.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Northwood Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
