Howard Baumann

Howard Baumann, age 90 of Holland was called into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Friday, December 14, 2018 at his home.

Howard was a loving husband of 66 years, a father, grandfather, great grandfather, great- great grandfather, brother and friend.

Howard was a member of North Holland Reformed Church where he served as a deacon, elder and as the Sunday school superintendent.

After the passing of his wife, his home continued to be a revolving door of hospitality and warmth where any and all were always welcome.

Family, faith and love of farming were his passion.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Frances who passed away in 2014.

He is survived by his children: Dick and Kathy Baumann, Ron and Joan Baumann, Barb and Chuck Vander Zwaag, Judy and Terry Van Dyke, Cindy and Doug Brouwer, Howie Jr. and Tammy Baumann and Randy and Jan Baumann all of Holland; 53 grandchildren; 81 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; sister: Marjorie Hoeve of Zeeland; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Judy and Ivan De Graaf of Holland, Ernie and Judy Prince of West Olive and Ruby Prince of Escalon, CA.

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at North Holland Reformed Church, 12050 New Holland Street. Reverend Steven DeVries will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at North Holland Reformed Church.
