Helen Rosenberg

Helen Ruth Rosenberg, age 87, of Holland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on February 24, 2017. She was born on June 21, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to Benjamin and Hazel (Kutch) Knoll. Helen graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University) in 1953, and Shelton College in 1955. She was employed by the American Philosophical Society Library in Philadelphia, the Sunday School Times, and for twenty-four years by Hamilton Community Schools (Blue Star Elementary). Helen was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Holland. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Dr. Madelin Knoll, and her husband of 56 years, Ronald in 2013. Helen is survived by her children, Ronald F. Rosenberg, David J. Rosenberg, and Bethanne Rosenberg; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law. Memorial services will be 11 am Thursday (March 2), at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, with the Rev. Ken Klett officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday (March 1) at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to FEBC (Far East Broadcasting Company) or Covenant Presbyterian Church.
