Harold Merryman, age 76, of Zeeland, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Monday, May 22, 2017.
Harold was born in Grand Rapids, MI and graduated from Holland High School, class of 1959. He was employed by Gentex Corporation for many years and was owner of Merryman’s Enterprises for past 25 years. He also attended Christ Memorial Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Margaret (Camerfman) Merryman and a brother, Ade Merryman.
Harold will be greatly missed by his wife, Judy of 55 years; children, Kent and Sherri Merryman and Kelly and Lisa Merryman; 4 grandchildren, Kyle and Brandy Merryman, Collin Merryman, Cortlyn, Merryman, and Kinzlee Merryman; 1 great granddaughter, Payton Merryman; sister, Linda and Wendell Hyink; in-laws, Pat Merryman, Deb and Marc Schaap, and Duane and Pam Geurink; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be 11 am Friday (May 26) in the Chapel at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Road, with the Rev. Jim Liske officiating. Please use entrances D or E.
Burial will be in Restlwawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday (May 25) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice of Grand Rapids.
