Glenn Rillema

Glenn Rillema, age 66, of Hudsonville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2017, after a short battle with cancer.

Glenn began working at Steelcase, the Monday, after graduating Unity Christian High School.

He retired 43 years later at the age of 62. Glenn enjoyed being a hobby farmer, avid bicyclist, and was active in his Church. He also corrected bible lessons from Crossroads. He loved being outdoors no matter what the weather. Glenn enjoyed flying and was pursuing his pilot’s license.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Robin; his sons, Christopher (Sarah), Jason (Courtney), Russell (Anne Marie), Scott (Becky); daughters, Allissa Emslie (Paul), Stephanie Walshak (Shane), Melanie Porter, Abigail Gaston (Jeffrey); 28 grandchildren; mother, Marie Rillema; sister, Gail Steenwyk (Paul).

Funeral services will be 12 noon, Saturday (January 28), at Harbor Church, 269 Douglas Avenue, with the Pastor Mark Chanski officiating, followed by a luncheon.

Burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10-11:45 am prior to the service and following the service until 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers please give to local Right to Life.
