Gary F. Pratt, age 77, of Holland passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Corewell Health Zeeland Hospital.

Gary retired from Consumers Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in South Haven after 35 years of service. He was a member of Central Wesleyan Church and very involved in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). Gary would spend many hours helping people at Evergreen Commons with their taxes. He enjoyed traveling, bowling in the winter, and golfing in the summer (a hole in one three different times). Gary attended the University of Michigan and was an avid fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Orie and Lois Pratt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary and children: Janelle (Phil) Vanden Heuvel and Paula (Matt) Koning; grandchildren: Tyler, Josh (Rylee), Paul, and Madelyn; great grandson: Beau; brothers and sister: Gregg Pratt, Sue Pratt, and Terry (Vicky) Pratt; sisters-in-law: Liane (Steve) Waters, and Linda (Michael) Miller; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service with military honors will be Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the Central Wesleyan Chapel, 446 West 40th Street in Holland (Please use entrance G). Pastor Dale Kleinheksel will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 10:45 am prior to the service. Memorial contributions will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel.
