It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Francisco Bolanos Guerra at 84 years old on Thursday September 26, 2024, lovingly known as Papa Pancho in Holland, MI. Francisco was born to Antonia Guerra and Guadalupe Bolanos on March 9, 1940, in Durango, Mexico. He lived life to the fullest always clinging to his faith in Jesus Christ.

He worked as a Lead Maintenance worker for Su Casa Restaurant in Chicago, IL for over 20 years where he retired. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren.

Francisco is survived by his wife, Rebeca Bolanos, and his children: Ruth Lopez (Isaac), Nohemi Sarli (Juan), Elizabeth Vasche (Michael), Saul Bolanos (Jennifer), Francisco Bolanos, Berta Bolanos Garcia. His legacy continues in his grandchildren: Evan Anderson, Natalie Slager (Adam), Harrison Lopez, Destinie Lopez, Andrew Lopez, Mathias Sarli, Nicholas Sarli, Mariah Mannen (Brock), Jeremiah Sarli, Hannah Sarli, Rebeca Vasche, Emma Vasche, Samuel Vasche, Jasmine Bolanos, Isabella Bolanos, Gabriel Bolanos, Liliana Bolanos, Griselda Bolanos, Jose Bolanos, as well as his great grandchildren, Everleigh Bulson, Leiland Anderson, Cora Sarli, Colton Sarli. He is survived by his sister, Manuela Viescas (Albert) and nephews: Antonia Bolanos, Francisco Aguilar (Margi), Jose Aguilar (Tami), Eduardo Aguilar and Daniel Aguilar. He was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Guerra, Nephew, Ismael Salcido Bolanos, Father-in-law, Gregorio Sustaita, Mother-in-law, Maria Cruz Sustaita, Brother-in-laws, Jesus Vaca and Mathias Sustaita.

You will be greatly missed Papa Pancho, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa; you will forever be lovingly remembered.

A funeral service to be held at 1:00pm at Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel; 295 Douglas Ave., Holland, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 with Reverend Douglas Estrada officiating. A one-hour visitation will take place prior to the service starting at 12:00pm. A private family burial will take place at North Holland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Voz de RestauraciĆ³n Nigeria Missions Project.
