Ernest L. Wilson

Ernest Leon Wilson “Lee, Ernie, Little John,” age 81, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

Ernie and his wife, Wanda Sue “Sue,” enjoyed touring the US on their motorcycle. They spent a lot of time at their trailer up north at Silver Lake, and he loved to fish and golf.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Wilson of 56 years, and his parents, William Ernest Wilson and Claudia B. Wilson (Payne).

He is survived by his daughter, Amy (Randy) Dirkse of Holland, and granddaughters Taylor and Makayla Dirkse. Sisters and Brother: Betty Herron of Holland, Jenny Slootaak of Holland, and Don Wilson of Holland. Nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.

Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel.
