Life Story / Obituary
Donna M. Cook, age 72, of Holland, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.
Donna was born to Fred and Winnie Zeerip in Holland, MI on October 24, 1941. She was a member of Graafschap Christian Reformed Church and volunteered playing the piano at Freedom Village in Holland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cook in 2005.
She is survived by her children, Melodie Hoffman of Palm Beach, FL, Sharon Cook-Bahr and Brian Bahr of Wauwatosa, WI, Steve Cook of Hamilton, Robin and Ken Aalderink of Holland; her grandchildren, Katrina Hoffman, Karla Hoffman, Danielle Cook-Bahr; Nathaniel Bahr, Kristine and Cory Meyer, and Ashley Aalderink; her sister, Eleanor VanDyke; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol and Jay Vander Vliet, Ron and Marge Cook, Jim Cook, Janice and Bob George; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Graafschap Christian Reformed Church, 5973 Church Street with Rev. Stan Scripps officiating.
Visitation will be held from 3-5pm on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 188 West 32nd Street and also from 10-11am at the church on Monday.
Burial will take place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Holland.
