Donald Vos

Don Vos, 63, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at his home. He was born, raised and lived in Holland his entire life.

Don will forever be remembered for his bigger than life personality. He had an abundance of smiles, endearing optimism and a crazy sense of humor. Don was an open-minded soul full of generosity and forgiveness. He had an adventurous spirit which included travel, boating, scuba diving, water and snow skiing. There were very few things that Don Vos would not try.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years Deb (Hop)Vos, children: Jonathan (Joelle) Vos, Rachel (Brad) Haan; 3 grandchildren: (Lucas, Cole and Chase); sisters: Sally (Dick) Kibler, Judy Parrott, and brother Ken (Joan) Vos; parent-in-law: Junior Hop; sisters-in-laws: Karen (Dwain) Kamphuis, Beth Ann (John) Zoet; brother-in-law: Randy (Bev) Hop; beloved nieces and nephews. Don had close friends whom he considered family and many other friends…no seriously, a LOT of friends!

In lieu of flowers you can donate in Don’s name to the Gift of Life Foundation, Michigan, giftoflifefoundationmi.org. This organization provides the care Don sought in his final year.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 am, Monday, December 3, 2018 at Fellowship Reformed Church, 2165 West Lakewood Blvd. in Holland. Reverend’s James Baar and Lindsay Small will be officiating.
