Donald Sewers

Donald James Sewers, age 74 of Saugatuck passed away November 29, 2017 at Grace of Douglas.

Don served in the U.S. Army in Germany and Vietnam where he was a surveyor setting up Cam Ranh Bay. His career was with the Michigan Highway Dept. as a surveyor until his retirement in 1999. Don enjoyed travel with the Nomads travel group. Don never met a new restaurant that he didn’t want to “check out”. He was always on the go meeting new people and visiting new places.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jim & Alice Sewers.

Don is survived by his brother, Dick (Cherry) Sewers; Sisters, Bonnie (Terry) Kozanecki, and Betty Rasmussen, along with many nieces and nephews.
