Donald Hardy

Donald A. Hardy, age 90, of Holland died Thursday, November 1, 2018 at The Inn at Freedom Village.

Don was born September 8, 1928. Don with his brother James co-owned Hardy Bros. Electric, working contract for Brooks Beverage. The business dissolved when James retired and Don was hired by Brooks Beverage. Don and his family owned a Christmas tree farm for many years where people came to cut their own trees. He was veteran of the US Army during the Korean conflict. Don really enjoyed his large vegetable garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Nellie (Buikema) Hardy, brothers Vincent and James Hardy, his children, William (Billy), Kandy, and Yancy Hardy and a granddaughter Tiffany Hardy.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy and her son: Dane Hardy and daughter Heidi Hardy; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
