Donald Anderson, age 84, devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed away on Saturday, June, 4th. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved with his family to Holland in 1941. He attended Sacred Heart School in Chicago, Illinois, Saint Francis De Sales School and Holland High School in Holland, Michigan. He was employed by the Holland Hitch, Co. for 43 years and retired in 1996. He enjoyed working on projects around the home and was a master woodworker.
His beloved wife of 55 years, Helen, passed away on June 8th.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Josephine Anderson, brother, William Anderson, sisters, Anne Stitt and Mary Kelly, brother-in-laws, Ray Stitt, Joe Plocharczyk, Phil Price, and Leo Kelly.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Anderson, Thomas Anderson, and Dennis (Mary) Anderson, all of Holland; grandchildren, Karisa Anderson and Matthew Anderson; sisters, Ruth Plocharczyk, JoAnn Price, and Donna Anderson; many nieces and nephews.
