Delores H. Schuck

Delores Helen Schuck , 88, of Holland, Michigan, passed away on February 10th at Resthaven Care Facility in Holland, Michigan.

Delores was born in LaGrange, Illinois to Arthur and Estelle Schultz on February 25,1933. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, involvement in her local church, music & dance, and time spent with family and friends. During retirement she and her husband raised horses and cattle in Stella and Neosho, Missouri. Be it at Sunday service or in the grocery store checkout line, she rarely missed an opportunity to strike up a conversation with a stranger and make a new friend.

Delores / Oma is survived by her Daughter Cynthia (Thomas) Behringer of Holland, MI., Grandson Drew (Jessica) Behringer of Grandville, Mi., Great grandsons Jameson and Elias, Granddaughter Marissa Behringer of Portland, Oregon, as well as, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Erwin Schuck and sister Anita Pankow.

Graveside service and burial will be held at St Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Aurora Illinois on February 23 at 1pm. Memorial service in Holland, MI will be scheduled at a later date. Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel will be handling the funeral home arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church 77 W 32nd St Holland, MI 49423. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the countless caring staff members at Resthaven who became Delores’ (“Grandma”) second family for nearly the past 8 Years.
