Delores (Dreyer) Wabeke

Delores (Dreyer) Wabeke, age 80 of Holland, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with alcohol related dementia.

Delores was known for her love of gardening. She would have the best flower boxes on the street. Her other loves were cats, camping, reading and garage sales. She could find any sale in town.

She leaves behind 2 daughters, Michele (Scott) and Roseann (Jeff), 3 grandsons Terry, Patrick and Jesse. Also 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Arlene (John), Shirley, John (Joyce) and David, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michele would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their care and compassion, also the Staff in the Gilead unit at SKLD-Zeeland.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 4 at 3:00pm at Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel, with a one hour visitation prior to the service starting at 2:00pm.
