David Saucedo, age 61, of Holland, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023.

Mr. Saucedo was born and raised in Holland, Michigan. He attended Holland Public Schools and later entered the excavating business. He was known for his solid work ethic and taking excellent care of his yard. He was fun, loving and a caring soul. David was always spoiling his daughter, Aubrey. He loved listening to his music loud. Fleetwood Mac and AC/DC were some of his favorite bands. He was an excellent cook and Mexican food was his specialty. David had an easy smile and great sense of humor which made him fun to be around. In his spare time you could find him playing bingo, watching Cops or WWE, going for cruises, playing scratch off lotto tickets or just hanging out around a fire with friends. David made the best of every situation in life. Everyone that knew him loved him and he will truly be missed.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 25, from 10:00am to 11:00am, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13th Street, Holland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following visitation at 11:00am at the church. Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. The public is invited to a luncheon at the church following the mass.

David is survived by his Mother, Willodean Saucedo; brother, Ernest Saucedo; sisters, Deanna (Dee) Robbins, Sylvia Gamez; nephews, Andrew Robbins, Jesse Gamez, Jordan Saucedo, Jared Saucedo; niece, Tania Gamez; the two loves of his life, Kathy & Aubrey Nyhof.

Mr. Saucedo was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Saucedo Jr.; brother, Richard Saucedo and a nephew, Joshua Saucedo.

Dee would like to give a special thanks and gratitude to Hospice of Holland and Vic & Marnie Himes for everything you have done for David and the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Funeral arrangements are under the auspices of the Downtown Chapel.
