Dale DeWitt

Dale DeWitt, age 84, of Holland, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 10, 2019. He retired from the teamster union after a very rewarding career as a long distance truck driver. After retiring from truck driving he worked at West Ottawa High School. In his retirement Dale also enjoyed spending time at and working on the farm where he lived south of Holland. He was preceded in death by his father Dorman DeWitt and mother Fanny DeWitt.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Norma DeWitt; children, Richard DeWitt (Vicki) DeWitt, William (Patricia) DeWitt, Thomas (Linda) DeWitt, along with nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 10:00 am until time of service, 11:00 am, at Calvary Reformed Church, 995 E 8th Street, Holland, Michigan 49423. Reverend Dan Carter officiating.
