Cornelius John Voss, age 98, of Holland died Monday, September 04, 2017 at Resthaven Care Center.

Neil was a member of Christ Memorial Church and former member of Homewood Reformed Church in Illinois where he was deacon. He was a member of the US Army serving for 4 1/2 years during World War II and a Television Technician for many years. Neil enjoyed golfing, boating, water skiing, the beach and bike riding. He was preceded in death by his sister Agnes Nydam.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Genevieve and children: Dennis and Dorothy Voss of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Barb and Glenn Riedberger of Saugatuck, MI, Darlene and Jack Jacobs of Chesterton, IN, Greg and Liz Voss of New Lenox, IL, David and Jo Voss of Des Moines, IA and Mark and Julie Voss of Boulder, CO; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; brother: Bob Voss of Manteno, IL; sisters: Betty Slager of Crown Point, IN and Irma Koornneef of Littleton, CO; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Christ Memorial Chapel, 595 Graafschap Road in Holland. Rev. Bill Boersma will be officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
