Cecilia Hofmeyer, age 98, of Holland, passed away, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Holland Hospital.
Cel was born in Holland, to Sam and Kate (Risselada) Koning on February 4, 1920 and graduated from Holland High School in 1938.
She was a member of the New Apostolic Church.
Cel was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence in 1995, great granddaughter Kylie Vredeveld in 1997, and a great great grandson David Saunders III in 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Terry and Ruth Hofmeyer and Robert and Jean Hofmeyer; 8 grandchildren, Mary and James Lorence, Mark and Robyn Hofmeyer, Jane Hofmeyer, Sarah and John Visser, Dee Dee Vredeveld, Kipp and Kathy Hofmeyer, Brandon Hofmeyer, and Tory and Cynthia Hofmeyer; 14 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter, Annie Cecilia; sister-in-law, Sally and Kenneth Hulst; nephews and nieces.
Funeral and committal services will be held 11 am Monday (October 29) at the New Apostolic Church, 117 West 14th Street, with Evangelist Scott Heidema officiating.
Burial will be in Graafshap Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Sunday (October 28) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street.
