Carol VandeVusse

Carol Lee VandeVusse, 72, passed away January 1, 2017 after a long, hard fought battle with Breast Cancer.

After retiring from Trendway Corporation in Holland MI she moved to Hesperia MI with her husband Sid. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as much as possible. She was able to spend much of her retirement traveling with family. When she was at home she would spend many hours working in her flower garden. She is very loved and will be dearly missed as a caring and loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend.

She is survived by her husband Sidney VandeVusse, her son, Mark Mulder, daughter and son-in-law Kris and Tom Nessner, grandchildren, Brian and Stephanie Mulder, Derek and Kaitlin Mulder, Ashley Nessner, Eric Nessner, and Michael Nessner, one great grandchild, Weston Mulder, her brother and sister-in-law Glenn and Gert Kraai of Lansing, her sisters and brother-in-law, Arlene Wassink of Holland, Thelma Nederhoed of Portage, and Sharon and Marvin Overway of California.

A memorial visitation will be 1-3 pm Saturday (January 7) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue. No services are scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
