Carlos Quintero Sr., age 61 of Holland passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016. He was born in Weslaco, Texas on December 25, 1954 to Pedro and Isidra Quintero. He was born of Catholic faith. Carlos enjoyed fishing, going to watch his great niece and nephew’s little league baseball games, cooking on the grill, watching Dallas Cowboys football games on television, and spending time with his family.

Carlos is survived by his girlfriend Tami McCann of 20 years. His children; Carlos Quintero Jr., Alberto Quintero, Valerie DeLeon, and Jorge Quintero. His grandchildren; Alberto Quintero Jr., Destiny Quintero, Michael Quintero, and David Quintero. His mother Isidra Quintero, and his siblings; Juan Quintero, Armando Quintero, Eddie Quintero, Gilberto Quintero, Teresa Quintero Garcia, and Andrea Elizondo. He is also survived by; his niece and nephews, his great niece and nephews, and his great-great niece and nephews. Carlos was preceded in death by his father Pedro Quintero, and his sister Yolanda Gonzalez.

A funeral mass will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Holland. Father Charles Brown will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland with a Rosary at 6:30 pm and visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
