Betty Sova

Betty Sova, age 84, of Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born in Holland and graduated from Holland High School. Mrs. Sova was employed as a secretary at Holland Furnace Company then was a homemaker for many years. After raising her family she was employed by Premiere Food Service. Betty was a lifelong member of Grace Episcopal Church and was married to her late husband Gerald for 64 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading and spending time with her family.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Gerald Sova in April of 2015. Mrs. Sova is survived by her sons; Dr. David Sova of Ada and Mark Sova of Holland, Geri Lynn (Todd) Guyer of Zeeland; grandchildren, Megan Sova, April Sova, Matthew Guyer, Jacob Guyer; sister, Beverly (Jim) Fairbanks of Holland; sister in-laws, Eleanor Nyhof of Holland and Betty Ross of Holland, Connie (George) Moeke. The family would like to thank Providence Health Care and Rehabilitation in Zeeland and Hospice of Holland.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 4th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Grace Episcopal Church, 555 Michigan Ave, Holland. A funeral ceremony will take place 1:00 p.m. at the church following visitation with Rev. Jennifer Adams officiating.
