Bernice E. De Ridder, age 89, of Holland, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2022, at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Community of Zeeland.
Bernice enjoyed baking and cooking just like her mother taught her, and she always had leftovers for anybody who stopped by.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband James F. De Ridder in 2019, daughter Linda Van Norden in 2021 and son-in-law James Van Norden II in 2020, a son Ronald James De Ridder in 2013, a sister Esther de Vries.
Bernice is survived by her children: Mike (Connie) De Ridder of Holland, Dennis (Beth) De Ridder of Zeeland and Terry De Ridder of Holland; grandchildren: Sally (Nathan) Delke, Christine (Eric) Van Hoven, James (Edith) Van Norden III, Jeffrey De Ridder, Ashley (Josh) Bolt, Eric Brock, Michael (Rachel) Brock and Terri (Tyler) MacCune; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great Granddaughter; sister and brothers: Sandra (Clent) Meyering; Gerald (Shirley) De Koster and Don (Henrietta) De Koster
Brothers-in-law: Bill (Catherine) De Ridder and Mike (Sandra) De Ridder; sisters-in-law: Clara Elgersma and Minnie McMillan.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be 1:00 pm, Friday, April 1, 2022 in Graafschap Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel.
