Benjamin Jansen Sr.

Benjamin Jansen Sr., 94, of Holland, died Saturday evening, Sept. 9, 2006, at home. A member of Niekerk Christian Reformed Church, he was a machinist for 35 years, working at Western Tool, Buss Machine and retiring from Textron. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Alice; children, Randall J. and Diane Jansen of Two Rivers, Wis., Benjamin Jr. and Carol Jansen of Muskegon, and Alene Joy and Jerry Bouwkamp of West Olive; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Jack (Ann) Kraal of Holland. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Niekerk Christian Reformed Church, 545 Country Club Road, Holland, with the Rev. J. William Van Der Heide officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visiting is 5 to 9 p.m. today at Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Chapel, 315 E. 16th St. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland or to Holland Christian Schools.
