Anna Mae Riemersma

Anna Mae (Dirkse) Riemersma, age 100 of Holland, passed away January 31, 2023 at American House in Holland.

Anna Mae retired from West Ottawa Public School System after 25 years of service. She was a charter member of Rose Park Reformed Church.Prior to the passing of her husband, Edward of 65 years in 2008, Ed and Anna Mae enjoyed spending time with friends and family including 25 winters in Clearwater, Florida.

She is survived by her children, Sheryl (Norm) Veldhoff of Holland, Lynnae (Stephen) Millard of Zeeland, Steve (Jan) Riemersma of Wilmington, N.C.; 4 grandchildren, Britt (Don) Bent of Campobello, S.C., Brock (Valerie) Millard of Columbiaville, MI., Erin (David) Dalke of Cypress, TX., and Charles Veldhoff and Heather Boswell of Holland; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Louise Dirkse, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank American House of Holland and Hospice of Holland for the loving care Anna Mae received.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 4 at 11:00am at Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel (295 Douglas Ave, Holland), with a one-hour visitation prior to the service.
