Born in Holland, Angie worked in the window decorating and advertising department at J. C. Penny until 1960.
She was a former member of Bethel Reformed Church and most recently Christ Memorial Church. She was involved in Ladies Bible Studies as well as the Women’s Literary Club and Wedgwood Acres.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 2002 as well as a step son-in-law George Smit MD. In 1984.
Angie is survived by her stepchildren; Marcia (Al) Elders of Naples, FL, Wayne (Toni Lynn) Streur of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., Karen (Roger) Grinwis of Holland, Kristi (Terry) Slenk of Holland, 10 Step Grandchildren, 13 Step Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00AM at Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 188 West 32nd. St. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
Friends may call on the family Saturday 10:00 – 11:00 prior to the service.
Memorial gifts may be given to Hospice of Holland or Words of Hope.
