Angeline DeWitt

Angeline DeWitt, age 98, of Holland, passed away on July 24, 2022. She went to be with her Lord and joined her loved ones in heaven. She was lovingly cared for by the staff at Appledorn North for the last two years. Hospice of Holland was also instrumental in providing exceptional care during her last few months. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Rolina Beyer and five siblings; Manley (Jo), Harriet (Cal), Gerald (Millie), Pat (Mike) and Evlyne.

She is survived by one brother, Lee (Pearl) Beyer; children, Tim (Maureen) Dewitt, Jan (Marc) Marcus, Mary (Tom) Purmort, Don (Lori) DeWitt; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

After graduating from Holland High School, Ange went to Butterworth earning her RN Degree.

Near and dear to her heart was volunteering with Hospice, Meals On Wheels and Red Cross. She was a worldwide traveler with family and many friends. One of her favorite places to go to was Las Vegas with her daughters. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain. Most dear to her, was watching her family flourish and her faith. For years, her family (30+ people) received a weekly email keeping them up to date on family news.

Private graveside services for family will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens. A Visitation/Celebration will be held Tuesday September 13, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, at Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland or Renew Therapeutic Riding Center.
