Life Story / Obituary

Amanda Lee Dyke passed away at home on Wednesday April 28,2021 from FTD(Frontotemporal Degeneration). Amanda is survived by her son River Jakubczak, parents Frank and Melba Dyke, brothers Mike(Kelly) Payne and Travis Dyke. She was recently preceded in death by her 1st nephew Trent Payne. Also, preceded by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins.

Amanda graduated from West Ottawa High School and University of Phoenix. She excelled in sports -tennis, volleyball, pool, horseback riding and riding Harleys.

Amanda had the most beautiful smile that would light up any room she walked into. If you knew Amanda and poured any ounce of love into her, she would pour back into you 10 fold. She lived fully, loved fiercely and would fight hard for those she loved.

With our beloved "Ring Leader" you knew you were in for a good time!

At the end of this battle, what a fighter she was, she was going to do things her way. What speaks the most was how her dearest friends stuck by her.

A graveside service for Amanda will be 12 noon, Saturday (May 1) at Lakewood Cemetery (West Lakewood Blvd., just west of 168th Ave.) Please bring a chair if you need to sit. A visitation will be 10-11:30, Saturday (May 1), at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street.
