Aleta H. Rigterink Koops, age 95, went to her eternal home on Thursday, February 9, 2017. She was a resident at Golden Orchards in Fennville Michigan. She was born on January 6, 1922 to Henry Jr. and Janet Eding of Hamilton Michigan.
She is survived by her children: Victor and Juanita Rigterink of Fennville, Loren Rigterink of Hamilton, Rodney and Rochelle Rigterink of Hamilton, Pat and Mike Burgess of Fennville; 11 grandchildren-Cheri and Rodney Kinslow of Lebanon, IN, Kathi and Michael Stronczek of Ft Wayne IN, Karen Rose of San Antonio TX, Julie and Mike Peters of Hamilton, Ryan and Kelly Rigterink of Saginaw, Aaron and Chanel of Grandville, Jennifer and Bob Fortuna of Nunica, Jessica and Miklos Kovach of West Olive, Jason and Jackie Rigterink of Jamestown, Stacey and Kurt Zelenock of West Olive, & Michelle and Andy Maliszewski of Livonia; 39 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; a sister Blanche Dekker of Atlanta GA and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren Cindi L. Rigterink and Jeremy D. Rigterink, daughter-in-law Sharon Rigterink, her parents, siblings and/or their spouses; Hollis and Ardith Eding, Alvin and Goldie Eding, Sophie and Gerrit Hemmeke, Bernice and Alvin Nykamp, & John Dekker Sr.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb 14 at 11:00 am at East Saugatuck Christian Reformed Church, 3815 56th St. Holland, MI with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Hamilton. Visitation will be Monday, Feb 13 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel at 188 W 32nd St. Holland.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland or Bibles for Mexico.
